Focused on improving the charging experience and reducing long-term costs in multifamily buildings, he has spent the last seven years traveling across Canada and the United States to share his knowledge and expertise with electrical and real estate companies, governments, and utilities. Léo is a proud IAEI Professional Member and regularly gives educational presentations to address common questions, misconceptions and safety concerns.
Summary
This educational session will provide a comprehensive overview of energy management systems (EMS) used to control EV charging in single-family and alternate loads, multifamily and commercial buildings. Starting with the basics, we will explore how to differentiate and compare the many products available. We will then address safety concerns and misconceptions, including some that are often overlooked. Additionally, we will discuss non-technical criteria that are critical to the long-term success of transportation electrification, but are frequently missed by professionals.
